If there was a top ten list of colorful city destination in Europe, Tirana is arguably among the top three. Tirana is colorful, chaotic and beautiful. Full of life, contrasts, historical remnants, funky restaurants and cafés, cool shopping streets, crazy market allies. The at times overwhelmingly erratic collections of concrete, colors, cars and construction leave a permanent blueprint of patterns on the retina.

No wonder that the world observes with anticipatory awe the urban influence of former Mayor of Tirana and current Prime Minister, Edi Rama. Fair play.
